Originally from Helsinki, Finland, this Canadian-raised 31 year old has been practicing art and creative writing since childhood, filling endless journals with portraits and studies of everything from everyday objects to abstract ideas. She draws portraits, writes poetry and children’s stories, paints landscapes and abstracts, and sells her work locally in galleries and art shops. Educated at Concordia University in Montreal where she studied art and literature, Nina is inspired by life, it’s mysteries and wonders, she sees life as an adventurous journey of discovery of the nature of the universe, a path towards god, and an opportunity to love and grow as a human. She currently lives and works in Huntsville, Ontario and plans to spend her adult life traveling, making art of all kinds and settling in the country in a cozy, sun-filled home one day, continuing to create and discover ‘til the day she dies.
